Is Lunvo secure? Data, permissions and the Partner API
Before you connect a tool to your Shopify business, you should know exactly what it can see and do. Here is what Lunvo accesses, and what it never touches.
Lunvo reads your data through the Shopify Partner API with read access only, using a Partner API token you create yourself and can revoke at any time. It reads your apps, earnings and merchant data to build your analytics, nothing more. Lunvo does not handle billing and never holds your payment credentials.
What data Lunvo reads
Lunvo reads your apps, your earnings and your merchant data from the Shopify Partner API. That is the source it uses to rebuild revenue, MRR, installs and your merchant list. It does not read anything outside what the Partner API exposes for your own organization.
Read access only, no write
The connection is read only. Lunvo pulls data to display it, and has no ability to change settings, charge merchants or modify your apps. There is no write access to grant.
You own the token
You create the Partner API token yourself in your Shopify Partner dashboard, and you can revoke or rotate it at any time from Partner API clients. Revoking it simply stops Lunvo from reading new data, with no side effect on your account.
Where billing stays
Lunvo is not a biller. Your billing stays on Shopify App Pricing, inside Shopify, and Lunvo never sees or stores card numbers or payment credentials. It only reads the revenue those charges produce.
